Bulk material handling demands equipment that can stand up to constant use — shovel loads, abrasive material, weather, and the occasional accidental knock from a skid steer. For this stone yard, we built a high-capacity steel hopper designed to speed up bagging operations and hold up for years of daily service.
The hopper was fabricated from heavy-gauge steel plate with full-penetration welds at every critical joint. The chute angle was engineered to gravity-feed crushed stone without bridging, and the entire assembly was sized to match the client's existing bagging line for a seamless drop-in.
